Vincent Flückiger comes from Fribourg and began learning the electric guitar before devoting himself to historically informed performance practice. He completed his studies of the lute and various period plucked instruments with a teaching diploma in 2003. He continued his studies at the Centre de Musique Ancienne de Genève and at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel.

Vincent Flückiger works with various ensembles specialising in performing on historical instruments, such as Les Ombres, I Gemelli, Le Poème harmonique, Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin and Les Passions de l'Âme.
