Stéphanie Erös

Stéphanie ErösViolin

Spot on: Attentive and friendly, she often finds the right words for a laugh when the pressure's on!

At a very early age, Stéphanie Erös discovered her passion for the baroque violin and its repertoire. She studied with Odile Edouard at the Centre de musique ancienne de Genève and then perfected her skills with Chiara Banchini at the Schola Cantorum in Basel. She also benefited from the advice of Enrico Gatti and Simon Standage.

Stéphanie Erös shares her activities as a musician with teaching the violin in various music schools and accompanies children and adults on the path of musical learning.

She regularly takes part in the productions of ensembles such as Les Passions de l'Âme in Bern, Gli Angeli Genève and Cantatio in Geneva, Cappella Mediteranea, A Corte Musical and Il Gusto Barocco in Stuttgart. With these ensembles she has performed at various festivals in Switzerland and Europe. She has also made several recordings under the direction of Stephan MacLeod, Roberto Gini, Gabriel Garrido, Alan Curtis, Rogério Goncalves and Jörg Halubek.
