Les Amateurs

Idea

Baroque music fever has long since broken out in the UNESCO city of Berne!
Les Amateurs des Passions are adult amateur instrumentalists who share a passion for early music and historically informed performance practice and play and perform in the baroque orchestra Les Amateurs des Passions.

Under the patronage of Les Passions de l'Âme and with the support of the professional instrumentalists of this orchestra, the Amateurs des Passions are offered the opportunity to cultivate their passion, to train and develop themselves in this field, and to present baroque treasures they have worked on to a wide audience in concerts.
Under the direction of violinist Meret Lüthi, the project orchestra Les Amateurs des Passions was founded in spring 2023.

Our next project will take place in spring 2026.
The cast of the orchestra is already complete.
